Week 11 of the college football predictions season is going to prove to be made or break for several teams still in the playoff hunt. Alabama is cruising towards yet another SEC West crown, but with Auburn hot on their heels, they cannot afford to slip up. TCU and Oklahoma have already both lost a game this season and know that another one will mean the end of their playoff hopes, making their meeting an elimination game. The Wisconsin Badgers are still unbeaten but have the strength of schedule issues barring their progress. A win over an Iowa team that just pounded Ohio State may help their cause. Let’s take a closer look at these 3 games.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
Alabama is still very much in the driver’s seat in the West, but they still need a couple more wins to ensure an appearance in the SEC Championship Game. The Crimson Tide are seeing their injuries start to pile up, so perhaps things may not end as smoothly this season as we all think they will. Alabama is 2-0 SU on the road and 1-1 ATS.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs started this season with one of the hottest offenses in the league, but back to back losses earlier in the season derailed them. They have since won 4-straight games, and while they have not been as explosive as they were in the opening weeks of the season, they are still putting up some points. The Bulldogs have gone 5-0 SU at home and 4-1 ATS. Alabama is 14-point favorites, and the point total is set at 51. I like them to win and cover, and I like the total to go OVER.

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Oklahoma Sooners
TCU’s chances of being in the playoffs took a serious hit a couple of weeks ago with a loss to Iowa State, but they beat Texas last week to stay in the hunt. A win over Oklahoma on the road would certainly help their cause, while a loss would mean that they would be looking at a bowl game rather than playoff football. TCU is 3-1 SU and ATS on the road this season.
The Sooners also only have a single loss on the season, with that one also coming against the Cyclones. They rebounded nicely from that loss, though, and have been racking up the offense in the weeks since. That said, they also give up a lot of points on defense, including 52 last weekend versus Oklahoma State. The Sooners are 3-1 SU and ATS at home this season. Oklahoma is a 6 ½ point favorite, with the O/U for this one set at 62 points. I like Oklahoma to win and cover, and I also like the OVER.

Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers
Iowa is coming off one of the more stunning upsets of the season, taking out Ohio State in a 55-24 win. The Hawkeyes have now won 3 of their last 4, which takes them to 6-3 on the season. Iowa, though, is just 1-2 SU on the road, and 0-2-1 ATS in those games. The Wisconsin Badgers are one of the few unbeaten teams left in college football, but the playoff committee remains less than convinced, thanks in large part to a weaker strength of schedule for the Badgers.
The Iowa win over the Buckeyes last week may work in the favor of the Badgers if they can come up with a big win here. Wisconsin is 5-0 SU at home this season, but just 2-3 ATS in those games. Wisconsin is a 12-point favorite, with the point total set at 46. I like the Badgers to win and cover, and the point total to go OVER.
