This is the time of the NBA season where making picks tends to get a little trickier, especially if you are focusing on the top teams in the league. Coaches may start to decide to give their better players a rest, so when it comes time to make your picks for any given day, take a look to see if there is any word on players sitting out first. I am putting together my usual 3-team parlays for the weekend and am doing so with the belief that no-one will be taking a night off. Again, please make sure to check for inactive players before putting your betting parlays tickets together.

Friday NBA Parlay – 76ers, Rockets, Trail Blazers
The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the surprise teams of the season, booking a playoff spot for the first time in years. They are now looking to cement a seeding that would give them home-court advantage in the opening round. A win over the awful Atlanta Hawks on Friday should help them do that.
The Houston Rockets are once again in the midst of another big winning streak, with no sign of it coming to a close. They have been particularly good in their own building this season, and I just don’t see them dropping a game to the Phoenix Suns.
The LA Clippers are on the wrong side of the playoff line right now but are fighting for their lives with back to back wins. That run may come to a close on Friday night, as they need to head to Portland to face a Trail Blazers team that is on fire right now.
Saturday NBA Parlay – Wizards, Heat, Warriors
The Washington Wizards are just a win or two away from clinching a playoff spot, which they should accomplish this weekend with a home win over the Charlotte Hornets. They will also be trying to climb up in the East and get a better seeding. A lot to play for.
The Miami Heat are another team that is close to clinching their playoff spot, and they are coming off a stifling defensive performance against LeBron James and the Cavaliers. Look for Miami to keep things rolling on Saturday night with a win over the Brooklyn Nets.
There will be some good news for the Golden State Warriors this week, as they will welcome back Kevin Durant from injury. Look for him to shake off some of the rust on Thursday before putting in a big Saturday night performance against the Sacramento Kings.
Sunday NBA Parlay Picks – Cavaliers, Thunder, Trail Blazers
Cleveland was left feeling frustrated after a poor performance against the Miami Heat earlier in the week, so look for them to head into the weekend with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. I like them to lay a bit of a beating on the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.
I am looking to get a little bit of value on this parlay ticket, which is why I am going with a bit of an iffy pick in this leg. The Oklahoma City have what looks to be a tough game on the road in New Orleans on Sunday, but I think they can escape with the win.
I am all in on the Trail Blazers right now, which is why I have them on two of my parlay tickets this weekend. They should have zero difficulties taking care of the hapless Memphis Grizzlies at home on Sunday.
