Much of the talk in NBA circles of late has been about the All-Star Game, which is now just a couple of weeks away. This is common at this time of year, as we seem to settle into a bit of a lull in the NBA before we enter the final playoff push in the second half. There is still a lot of basketball to be played between now and the All-Star festivities though, and teams cannot afford to go to sleep before the break. We have a lot of games on tap this coming weekend, and it all begins with a full round of games on the NBA betting calendar for this Friday night. We have picked out a few that you might want to pay attention to, and we have also added some predictions in case you feel like making some wagers while you watch.

Top NBA Betting Games for Friday Night
Houston Rockets Vs New Orleans Pelicans
Since this is the NBA Friday Night game on ESPN, it may well end up being the one that the majority of you choose to watch and wager on. The Houston Rockets are in second place in the West and are back in business now that James Harden has returned from injury. They have won all 4 games since his return but have a tricky trip to New Orleans ahead of them to face a Pelicans teams that are currently in a playoff spot. The Pelicans are a tough nut to crack at home, but Houston is great on the road this season. We should get a good one here.
Predicted Score: Houston Rockets 113 New Orleans Pelicans 106
Indiana Pacers Vs Cleveland Cavaliers
We are fast approaching crisis time in Cleveland, assuming we haven’t already arrived, as this Cavs team looks like it is ready to implode. Cleveland has just 3 wins in their last 10 games and is quickly losing touch with the Celtics atop the Eastern Conference. Friday night will be a tough one for the Cavs, as they are up against an Indiana Pacers team that is on a bit of a roll, winning 7 of their last 10, which has helped lift them into 6th spot in the East. I would not be surprised to see a little bit of an upset in this one.
Predicted Score:Â Indiana Pacers 107 Cleveland Cavaliers 103
Philadelphia 76ers Vs San Antonio Spurs
After serving several years as the laughing stock of the NBA, the Philadelphia 76ers are turning things around and now find themselves in a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. This is a team that still has some way to go to be a legitimate challenger, but they will get a good opportunity to measure themselves against one of the best teams in the league when they head to San Antonio to face the Spurs on Friday night. The 76ers have won 8 of their last 10 but will need to be at their very best to win this one.
Predicted Score:Â Philadelphia 76ers 98 San Antonio Spurs 100
LA Lakers Vs Chicago Bulls
While this match-up may have lost some of its lusters in recent years, it’s still fun to see two iconic teams go head to head. Both these teams are sitting below the playoff line, and both are more than likely going to miss out on the postseason, but that doesn’t make this game any less fun to wager on. The Lakers have been pretty awful on the road, but the Bulls are sitting a game below .500 in their own building this season, so this is not an easy one to handicap.
Predicted Score:Â LA Lakers 108 Chicago Bulls 104
