Top NBA Wagering Picks and Predictions for Week March 12
We are at the stage of the NBA season where the pressure really begins to pile up, as we now have teams starting to clinch playoff spots. This means that the teams sitting outside the top 2 or 3 spots in the conference need to get on a positive streak to ensure that they are still above the playoff line when the regular season comes to an end. There are a lot of big games on tap this week and we are going to look at some of the best on the NBA calendar between now and Thursday night. We will have individual game previews throughout the coming week, as well as a weekend preview, which should be available on Friday. First off, though, let’s get to the games in the early part of the week and decide your wagering picks and predictions for the first part of the week.

San Antonio Spurs (37-29) Vs. Houston Rockets (52-14)
What: San Antonio Spurs (37-29) Vs. Houston Rockets (52-14)
When: Monday, March 12, 2018, at 8:00 P.M ET
What: Toyota Center – TX, Houston, TX
The Line: Houston Rockets -11½ -110 | -800 | U 211½ -110
It’s beginning to look more and more like the Rockets are going to win the West. They saw their 17-game win streak come to an end over the weekend but still increased their lead to a game and a half over the Warriors, who have lost 2 in a row with Steph Curry out injured. The Rockets have a tough one on Monday night when the San Antonio Spurs come calling but given how the Spurs have played on the road this season, it would not be a huge surprise to see them fall to defeat in this one. This should be a good one, but Rockets are just too tough at home.
Predicted Score: San Antonio Spurs 100 Houston Rockets 106.
Indiana Pacers (39-28) Vs. Philadelphia 76ers (36-29)
What: Indiana Pacers (39-28) Vs. Philadelphia 76ers (36-29)
When: Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 7:00 P.M ET
What: Wells Fargo Center-PA, Philadelphia, PA
TV: FSMW, CSN.
The Line: TBA
Don’t look now, but the Indiana Pacers are suddenly ahead of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the #3 seed in the Eastern Conference. They have won two in a row and 7 of their last 10 but have a tough road trip on Tuesday to face a Philadelphia 76ers team trying to stay above the playoff line. The 76ers have been a good bet at home this season, going 20-10 in their own building. They look like a certainty to be in the postseason but would like to stay out of the 7 or 8 spots. A win here would certainly help the cause. I have the 76ers winning a tight one.
Predicted Score: Indiana Pacers 103 Philadelphia 76ers 104.
Washington Wizards (38-29) Vs. Boston Celtics (46-21)
What: Washington Wizards (38-29) Vs. Boston Celtics (46-21)
When: Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 8:00 P.M ET
What: TD Garden, Boston, MA
The Line: TBA
The Boston Celtics officially clinched a playoff spot over the weekend but also now that now is not the time to relax. They are still chasing after the Toronto Raptors in the top spot, although they are now 3 ½ games back of the surging Raptors. The Celtics will put their 23-12 home record on the line against the Washington Wizards on Thursday night, and you need to like Boston against a Washington team that is just 5-5 in their last 10 games.
Predicted Score: Washington Wizards 102 Boston Celtics 106.
Toronto Raptors (49-17) Vs. Indiana Pacers (39-28)
What: Toronto Raptors (49-17) Vs. Indiana Pacers (39-28)
When: Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 8:00 P.M ET
What: Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN
TV: Sportsnet One, FSMW
The Line: TBA
The Toronto Raptors are getting hot and starting to open up a gap at the top of the Eastern Conference. A run that has seen them win 8 in a row and 9 of their last 10 has them now 3 ½ games clear at the top. This is a tough match-up for them, though, with Indiana now moving into the #3 seed in the East. The Raptors have a stellar 21-12 road record, though, so no reason for them to fear to make this trip to face a Pacers team that is 23-2 at home. I like Toronto to keep the good times rolling with a win in this one.
Predicted Score: Toronto Raptors 108 Indiana Pacers 100.
