Los Angeles Rams +1000, Odds to Win the Super Bowl 53
We all know that every team enters a new season with the hopes of winning the Super Bowl 53, but it’s also fair to suggest that some teams show more intent than others. The LA Rams took a massive step forward lasts season under new head coach Sean McVay, but it is now very clear that they want to take things a step further. The Rams were very busy this offseason swinging trades and making signings designed to make them even better than they were in 2017. The key parts of this team are still in place, but they have now added some parts that could well make them a force to be reckoned with. The Rams are one of the favorites to win it all this year, so let’s take a closer look at how that might happen.

LA Rams Offense
When Jeff Fisher was in charge of the Rams, it became rather obvious that he was not sold on Jared Goff as the franchise QB of the future. It turns out that Fisher was very wrong, which may explain why he is no longer employed by the Rams. Goff was a revelation last season, but it certainly helped that opposing defense also had to focus their attention on the running ability of Todd Gurley. The big man rediscovered the form that made him the rookie of the year a few seasons ago, creating a two-headed monster on the offensive side of the football.
Under McVay, the Rams went from the worst offense in the league to the best in the course of a single season. The Rams lost their offensive coordinator from last season, but they should still be fine. Sammy Watkins has moved on, but Brandin Cooks will prove to be a more than adequate replacement. There is a reason to believe that Goff is only going to get better, as we expect him to iron out some of the wrinkles in his game this season. In short, there is nothing to stop this offense from going off in a big way in 2018.
LA Rams Defense
While the Rams offense in 2017 was a thing of beauty, the defense was perhaps not as strong as it could have been. The front office has certainly done their part to shore things up, bringing in Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh. This is a unit that now has the opportunity to be the best in the business, as they are now going to be even tougher to run on and beat with the deep ball. If these new additions can learn the system and gel quickly, the Rams are going to be very tough to beat.
LA Rams Season Prediction
This is going to be another very good season for the LA Rams, as I see them potentially winning 11 or 12 games in 2018. While that would be nice, this is a team that has been built to win championships, with a lot of money invested in player personnel to make the Super Bowl happen. The NFC is going to be brutally good this year, and while the Rams do have a shot, I think they come up short.
