🏈: NFL Preseason – Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys

Cincinnati won their preseason opener by beating Chicago 30-27 as starting quarterback Andy Dalton completed 6 of 8 passes for 103 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and backup Jeff Driskel completed 10 of 15 passes for 140 yards with one touchdown.
Running back Clayton Fejedelem led the Bengals with 49 rushing yards on one carry. Wide receiver A.J. Green caught two passes for 48 yards in the win.
The Cowboys were on the wrong end of a narrow, 24-21 loss against San Francisco in their opener. Starting quarterback Dak Prescott completed all three of his pass attempts for 39 yards and one touchdown while backup Cooper Rush had a nice game by going 15 for 23 for 145 yards and one touchdown. Running back Bo Scarbrough led the Cowboys with 33 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
The Cowboys have won three straight home preseason games and five of their last six overall while going 3-2-1 ATS during the span. I like Dallas to eke out the narrow home win in this one as well as they play their starters just a tad longer than Cincinnati will. Once this game goes to the backup quarterbacks, it’s pretty even if you ask me. I like the Boys at home to narrowly cover the chalk!
Pick: Dallas 24 Cincinnati 17
🏈: NFL Preseason – Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tennessee Titans
🏟️: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN

🎰: Tennessee Titans -3 -105 | -160 | U 41 -110
Tampa Bay got a good effort from starting quarterback Jameis Winston to beat Miami 26-24 in their preseason opener last week. The Buccaneers’ oft-maligned starting quarterback completed 11 of 13 passes for 102 yards in the win and third-stringer Ryan Griffin played fantastically by completing 20 of 26 passes for 179 yards and one touchdown. Running back Peyton Barber led Tampa with 21 yards and a touchdown on 4 carries. Winston played the entire second quarter and led Tampa Bay’s backups to 10 points on drives of 32 and 40 yards.
“Man, it was just great to play against another team,” Winston said.
Tennessee Titans will be looking to rebound after suffering a humbling 31-17 loss to Green Bay in their preseason opener last week in the debut of head coach Mike Vrabel. Starting quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 2 of 3 passes for 42 yards and a touchdown. Veteran backup Blaine Gabbert completed 9 of 15 passes and roster hopeful Luke Falk completed 10 of 19 passes for 105 yards and one touchdown. Receivers, Tim Semisch and Darius Jennings each had one touchdown catch in the loss.
“It was cool. I love this team, I do. I love these guys,” Vrabel said about first time on the sideline leading the Titans.
While I don’t think Tampa Bay is going to be the better team once the regular season gets started, I do like the Buccaneers to get the easy win in this one, mostly because I like their quarterback situation and I believe that Jameis Winston is going to play at least another full quarter seeing as how he’s going to miss the first three games of the regular season.
Tennessee has lost two of their last three home preseason games while going 1-2 ATS. The adjustments they’re making in their new system, combined with the fact that the Bucs are already in a semi-desperate state, means Tampa Bay will win outright to cover!
Pick: Tampa Bay 27 Tennessee 21
