NFL Wild Card Betting Value in Redskins vs Cowboys
While it’s still a little too early to know exactly which teams are going to be in the playoffs this season, there are a couple who have almost certainly booked their ticket. On the NFC side of the playoff hunt, you have the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles, who are now just 1 win away from clinching the East division. They will actually get a little help this Thursday night, as the loser of the game between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys will be eliminated from the division race, and almost certainly out of the Wild Card Betting picture.
There are a lot of teams in the NFC boasting good records as we head into Week 13, which makes the sub .500 records of the Cowboys and Redskins look even worse than they really are. One of these teams is going to come out and win this game, but the reality is that unless they go perfectly the rest of the way, there is little to no chance that they will be in the postseason. Still, pride is at stake here, and the Cowboys come in as a slight 1-point favorite, with the point total set at 44.
NFL Thursday Night Football Redskins vs Cowboys
When: Thursday, November 30 at 8:30 PM EST
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington

Why Bet on the Washington Redskins
The Washington Redskins have seen their season go down the toilet in the past few weeks, but you need to feel some level of sympathy for them, as they have been absolutely hammered by the injury bug. They have only managed 2 wins in their last 6 games, although they are coming into this one on the heels of a 20-10 win over the New York Giants in Week 12.
That victory was actually the first win that Washington had against their division rivals. They are now 1-3 against that group, which included a 33-19 loss at the hands of the Cowboys earlier this season. If there is one bright spot for the Redskins, it is how they have performed on the road, where they are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games. They are also 9-1 ATS in their last 10 visits to Arlington, so they certainly cannot be counted out of this one.
Why Bet on the Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones came out after the most recent loss by his team and gave a vote of confidence to head coach Jason Garrett. Anyone who follows professional sports knows that this more often than not ends up being the kiss of death for a coach, and Garrett could certainly be in trouble if he cannot lead his team to a strong finish in the final few weeks of the season.
Dallas looks like a very different team on offense without the services of the suspended Ezekiel Elliott, and it also doesn’t help that Dak Prescott is not getting a lot of protection with LB Sean Lee out through injury. The Cowboys have now lost 3 straight, and have only managed a total of 16 points in those defeats. The UNDER has hit in 4 of Dallas’ last 6 games at home, and given their offensive struggles it would not be a surprise to see a low score come up again.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
Both of these teams are essentially playing out the season under a bit of a cloud, albeit for different reasons. I think Dallas get a little better offensively against a very banged-up Redskins squad, and I like them to get the win, while the total goes UNDER.
