NHL Playoffs Winnipeg Jets at Nashville Predators Game 7 Information
The NHL playoffs are arguably the most exciting postseason event in all of the professional sports, but there are very often series on the road to the Stanley Cup that is just that much better than the rest. These are the series that have big momentum swings, and which generally go the distance all the way to a Game 7. We have one of those on tap right now, as the Winnipeg Jets and Nashville Predators are down to a deciding game, with the winner heading off to the Western Conference Final to face the Vegas Golden Knights. Predicting this series through the first 6 games has been a bit of a nightmare, as it has swung back and forth with each passing game. Neither of these teams has won back to back games in the series, and home-ice advantage has essentially meant nothing to this point. If the trend of this series continues, it would be the Winnipeg Jets who come out on top in the deciding game, but the Predators are going to have something to say about that.

Why bet on the Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets wasted a glorious opportunity to close the series out after losing 4-0 at home in Game 6. A win there would have seen them move on, but this was arguably their worst performance of the postseason to this point. It was the first time that the Jets high-powered offense was shut out in the playoffs, and it perhaps highlighted the fact that the Jets do not have the playoff experience that Nashville can boast. Going on the road to win a Game 7 is never an easy task, but the Jets have a 3-2 record away from home through the first two rounds, so a win here is certainly not out of the question. Winnipeg will be looking to come out quickly and shake off the bad vibes from the previous game, and an early goal would certainly help settle the nerves.
Why bet on the Nashville Predators
In Game 6, the Nashville Predators showed everyone why they put together the best regular season record, while also showing that playoff experience is a huge advantage. Lesser teams would have buckled under the pressure of going on the road for an elimination game, but the Predators went back to the stifling style of hockey that took them all the way to the Stanley Cup Final last season. It was the second shutout of this regular season for Pekka Rinne, and he has delivered those performances in the big game. This one kept his team alive, while his shutout in the opening round came in the game where the Predators eliminated the Colorado Avalanche. Filip Forsberg continued his strong play in the postseason with a pair of spectacular goals in Game 6.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
This is a game that is essentially a coin flip given how this series has gone through the opening 6 games. Prior to the start of the postseason, I had the Winnipeg Jets as my dark horse pick to win the Stanley Cup. I am going to ride them all the way to the Final.
Predicted Score: Winnipeg Jets 4 Nashville Predators 2
