The major European domestic leagues are drawing to a close, with this weekend being the final week of the regular season in the English Premier League. Most of the action in that league is set for Sunday, and we will have a Sunday soccer preview coming your way a little later this week. For now, we are going to focus on the bigger games taking place all day Saturday. We will hit Europe, and we will also have some soccer preview and picks for you, so let’s get right to it.

Hertha Berlin Vs RB Leipzig
It’s the final week of the Bundesliga season, and while Bayern Munich has the title wrapped up, there is still the business of European spots to decide. RB Leipzig is in 6th right now, which would land them in the Europa League qualifying. With a win this weekend, they could potentially steal a Champions League spot, assuming other results go their way. Hertha have already beaten Leipzig this season, winning 3-2 on the road back in December. They really have nothing to play for here, though, so let’s go with RB Leipzig.
Predicted Score: Hertha Berlin 1 RB Leipzig 2
Middlesbrough Vs Aston Villa
It’s an exciting time of the season for several teams across the divisions in England, as we are now heading into the promotion and relegation playoffs. These two are hooking up for the first leg of the Championship playoff, with the winner of the 2-leg affair taking one step closer to the Premier League. These two teams hooked up twice in the regular season, and we only saw 1 goal scored in those games, with Villa getting a 1-0 win on the road last time out. The other meeting ended 0-0. We can probably except more of the same here. UNDER is the wager with this one.
Predicted Score: Middlesbrough 0 Aston Villa 0
Nice Vs Caen
Ligue 1 was decided long ago, with PSG unsurprisingly romping to the title. As is the case with many of the domestic leagues, there is still the business of European qualification to consider. There are still 2 games to play for each team in Ligue 1, and as it stands right now, Nice are on the outside looking in at the European qualifying spots, albeit only 1 point off the pace. Caen are still down in the relegation fight, and could use something out of this game in order to help their chances of staying up. Caen have only managed 9 goals away from home all season, so this one looks like a lost cause.
Predicted Score: Nice 2 Caen 0
Colorado Rapids Vs New York Red Bulls
The MLS is still in the very early stages of the season, with several teams still trying to find their footing in the early going. The New York Red Bulls may have finally kickstarted their season with an impressive 4-0 win over city rivals NYCFC last weekend. The road has been tough, though, as they are just 1-2 in their first 3 road games. The Rapids are off to a slow start and find themselves below the playoff line in the Western Conference. At 2-1-1, they have been good at home. In the last 7 meetings between these two, the home team has won 5 times, with the other 2 ending in a tie. I think we might be looking at a draw here.
Predicted Score: Colorado Rapids 1 New York Red Bulls 1
