The European domestic leagues are all heading into the homestretch, but we had a bit of a bye week last weekend, as the best players in the world reported for international duty. Many of the teams taking part in the World Cup played a couple of friendly games over the past week, but once Tuesday has passed, it will be time to head back home and get into the daily grind of domestic football. There are tons of betting options available every day in the football world, and this weekend is no different. We will preview a couple of games from the EPL and Serie A, and will also choose a game from the MLS, where the new season has just begun.

West Ham Vs Southampton
With the end of the season fast approaching, points are at a minimum and given where these two teams are right now, a point picked up in this one could prove to be vital. Southampton is in the drop zone right now, 2 points back of West Ham. Southampton has won 3 of their last 4 meetings with West Ham, including a 3-2 win at home earlier this season. This one usually produces goals, so let’s take the over 2 ½ and go with the draw.
Predicted Score: West Ham 2 Southampton 2
Manchester United Vs Swansea
The only thing to really be decided at the top of the EPL right now is which team will finish behind Manchester City for in second. Manchester United are there right now and look to have a winnable game at home this weekend against Swansea. United are unbeaten in their last 4 meetings with the Swans, winning 3 and drawing one. They were comfortable 4-0 winners last time out. I like United again, although the score may not be so flattering here.
Predicted Score: Manchester United 2 Swansea 0
Sassuolo Vs Napoli
Serie A is now a 2-horse race, and for the first time in a while, it is Napoli who are chasing Juventus, sitting 2 points back of the leaders. Napoli can take the lead, at least for a couple of hours, if they can win on the road against Sassuolo this coming Saturday. Napoli has the best away record in the league, and you really need to like their chances against a team that is sitting just above the relegation zone. Sassuolo has drawn 2 of their last 3 against Napoli, and while they will put up a fight, they should fall short.
Predicted Score: Sassuolo 1 Napoli 3
Juventus Vs AC Milan
Juventus, after trailing for a large portion of the season, has finally hit the top of Serie A, leaving them in control of their own destiny. Next up is a home game against AC Milan, a team that is now a shadow of their former greatness. It was Juve who came away with a 2-0 win in their meeting earlier this season, and I think we can expect more of the same this weekend. Juventus have only dropped 1 game at home all season, and I see no reason why that number should change against Milan.
Predicted Score: Juventus 2 AC Milan 1
LA Galaxy Vs Los Angeles FC
LAFC is one of the new boys in the MLS this season, and like Atlanta did last season, they are taking the league by storm. They have won each of their first two games and will go up against their city rivals this weekend. The Galaxy made news of their own this weekend with the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, although we probably won’t see the big man until next weekend at the earliest. The Galaxy is 1-1-1 on the season, and I think they could be in trouble here against a very talented LAFC team.
Predicted Score: LA Galaxy 1 LAFC 3
